I don't think he quit, as he just re-registed his domain names on 28-Jun-2002, as seen here: http://www.internic.net/cgi/whois?whois_nic=roth.net&type=domain Perhaps someone can ping his name servers? If the ping works, try resolving directly from his name servers. (as a reminder, for those using Win32, the NSLOOKUP command supports alternate name resolvers via the SERVER command, as in: nslookup [enter] server 216.173.208.147 [ENTER] www.roth.net [ENTER]) (I can't, I'm writing this from behind a VERY restrictive network...) $ nslookup dns.roth.net Server: nameserver.dom Address: XXX.XX.XXX.X Non-authoritative answer: Name: dns.roth.net Address: 216.173.208.147 $ nslookup dns2.roth.net Server: nameserver.dom Address: XXX.XX.XXX.X Non-authoritative answer: Name: dns2.roth.net Address: 206.124.158.167 >Just curious, >Henry HTH, amonotod -- `\|||/ amonotod@ (@ @) netscape.net ooO_(_)_Ooo______________________________ _____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____| __________________________________________________________________ Your favorite stores, helpful shopping tools and great gift ideas.
