I still like PerlBuilder. The only complaints I have are 1) it's too
expensive and 2) I've heard that there can be problems running extremely
complex data structures through the debug window. But I use ActivePerl's
Debugger that comes with the Perl Dev Kit anyway. I like the syntax
highlighting and the ability to debug the scripts from within the program,
and I really like the way it gives you the function syntax in a tooltip
window as you're typing. I wish they would extend that to somehow look for
functions within modules being used, but that would require function
prototyping for all modules, so I can see why it's not there.

Hi!

For remote Access I'm still using HomeSite 4.51 (has integrated FTP-Engine)

And if you have WebDav running on your Server, you can also use MS .NET +
Visual perl

Works fine too.

Betreff: Best Editor Available???

Hi all,

I realize that this has been asked loads of times before, but times changes
and new editors come along fast...

Just a question - I am new to perl and am currently using PrimalScript as my
editor on Win32 but I just thought that I would ask to see what other
Editors (IDE) you would recommend and why?

I really appreciate your input...
