I'm looking for a method to do exactly what psinfo does, grab all the installed software on a machine. But I'd prefer to do it in a native Perl script. I've googled extensively but cant find any method of getting it. I've even looked in the registry but cant find a definitive list of all programs installed :(
Does anyone know of any methods of doing this? As I said I know I could use psinfo but I'd prefer native Perl (mainly because I'm mad :-)).
