Thanks for your reply.  I call Autosize at a few places
in the code, so I guess maybe that's the cause, I will
have to recheck.
By the way I think your attached sample didn't show up
in the message, perhaps again its being removed by the
listserver.  It might be better just to cut and paste
it into the message.

     When i try to show a empty grid, i don't have
small cells like you.
     Do you call AutoSize between AddGrid and Show ?
     Autosize calc mimimum size of each cell for
maximise cell display, but
 if you have empty cell, you have something like your
second picture.
