Thanks Christopher and others for the response. I installed from Soulcage.net (thanks Scott) without a problem so all looks good. Chris, I successfully (and shamelessly) tested with your example with a few local changes. There is a lot of negative feedback around the 'Net but that must be from trying to use the unix packages on Win32. This seems to work well.
Conversion from FTP to SFTP should be little more than changing net::ftp to net::sftp and adding a few parameters, etc. Other issues have come up so it will be a few days before I can mod my ftp app to give it a full try.
