Win32::API is 0.41. Hmm. Will try on a couple different OS versions and see what happens.

The encrypt/decrypt works and prints the correct output data. It's only on program exit that the error occurs: Faulting application perl.exe, version 5.8.8.817, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00011e5a. The fault address isn't always the same, btw. I tried my code, the code from the POD and the code from both your posts with the same results. System is : WinXP SP2, perl 5.8.8.817, capicom.dll 2.0.0.3 Andy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- ---- What version of Win32::API ? (Try version 0.41 if that's not already the version you have.) I can't reproduce the error on the same build of perl. I *do* have a different version of ntdll.dll, though I think the error is most likely to be caused by something within perl.
