That's a bit like saying "Perl is nothing but a scripting language -- I
think ORA has a book or two about it". You can do Real Things in Python,
just like in Perl -- for example, AFAIK Google and Infoseek use Python, and
you can do COM or Tk in Python as well as in Perl.
