I'll indeed be available as a mentor again, and I started to collect ideas on a wiki some weeks ago: http://www.perlfoundation.org/perl6/index.cgi?summer_of_code_ideas I see three major points of interest: 1) the test suite offers infinitely much possibilities for improvements. Details are on the wiki page 2) the Rakudo "setting" (built-ins written Perl 6) make Rakudo hacking much more accessible. This would be a good starting point for a student. 3) documentation Also feel free to discuss these topics on IRC with us.
