If we are at it: Adam (Turoff - the perldocs pumpking) and I are
discussing the I18N of the Perl 6 documentation and interpreter
messages. That means, their translation to a multitude of languages
(see the I18N project of the K desktop environment,
http://i18n.kde.org/, to get a grasp of what could be possible).
Of course, if we decide to "localize" Perl 6, we must take the issue in
account when designing Perl and choosing a documentation data format.
What do you think about this? To respond to the above thread, IMO the
I18N of Perl will only help Perl in its popularity and involvement of
non-native speakers in the development.
Detailed information should follow soon. Should I write an RFC to
discuss about, though I would come a bit late? :(
