Hi there,
I've been using PDL in my mac-intel OS X 10.4.9 for a while
(installed from Scikarl v0.12) and I hadn't encountered any
problems until I upgraded to the most recent version 0.20. PGPLOT
doesn't work at all in the new version. I have tested this in two
mac-intel machines already and the results are the same. The kind
of error that I get trying to run the demos is:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
perldl> use PDL::Graphics::PGPLOT
perldl> use PDL::Graphics::PGPLOT::Window
you should not need these
'demo' loads them
perldl> demo pgplot

this is a very strange error.
X11.app is running?
you have DISPLAY and PERLLIB defined correctly?
You can wipe things by deleting the PDL & PGPLOT directories in /
Library/Perl/5.8.6/darwin-thread-multi-2level/
The BOM file (should be in the pkg file) gives a complete list of
what is installed
