For example: what architecture and OS are you running? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit? What version of Perl? What (exactly) did you do? What (exactly) did it say? Do the demos for the external programs not work, or is it a specific problem with the PDL binding? Did you read the help, README and INSTALL files? Search the mailing list archive? The more specific your request for help, the better the help you may receive.
