Ok, let me throw in some comparable projects' websites: http://www.r-project.org/ http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/ http://www.scipy.org/
or some other non-scientifc large perl project such as http://www.catalystframework.org/ None of those are particularly great styles, but they all look professional and reflect what the user is expecting. I think if you compare them to the current design, you'll find that - there are no animated elements on any of the sites. It's distracting, and rarely useful - there's little "cutsy" stuff like owls or smileys - there is a certain consistency in the layout. The current page has too many pictures in too many different places Cheers, Ben On 22 Jul 2010, at 16:46, Ranalli Piero wrote: > On Thursday 22 July 2010 15:27:13 Daniel Carrera wrote: >> Hello, >> >> I am working on a website update.
