Hi Pablo- You'll have better luck distributing PDL if you stick to the features you need to implement your work rather than trying to install the entire PDL distribution with many external dependencies only to ignore most/all and only use the core PDL functionality.
That said, we're always hoping to improve the robustness and portability of PDL. Specific examples of what you need and what you tried and then what happened and what you would have preferred to happen are helpful to debug this type of thing. With PDL-2.008 schedule for release this month, it would be a good time to help us understand and resolve your problems with PDL builds and distribution so that we can include what is possible for the PDL-2.008 stable release.
