She has audited some plane hangar / engineering department in the U.S. Try to avoid flying during the above dates. The reason for that is that the Global Positioning System (GPS) uses a week counter that will overflow after 1,024 weeks from its initial set-up date. This will happen on 22 August 1999 in USA, but in Asia, it will be 21 August1999. It is feared that Navigation systems relying on GPS (they say) will fail if they still have the old chips with the initial GPS week counter set-up. Hence, as a precaution, it is advisable that our officers don't fly during these two days.
