Julukan pasukan
Aussie adalah diggers. Ya maklum tukang gali kuburan.
Matanya buta asal dikasih tunjuk yg mana mesti dikerjain
sih lancar juga.
Kayaknya mereka menembaki pansernya sendiri-sendiri
biar dapat diaku hasil tembakan Brimob. Pantes saja
rasanya hebat, musuhnya polisi sipil.....;) Mana nggak malu lagi...

Militia 'took aim at diggers'
Dili: The Indonesian troops and militia who opened
fire on Australian troops at the East Timor-West
Timor border on Sunday were on the right flank of the
Australians as they approached the border, Interfet
sources say.
And the two Indonesians injured in the encounter
were firing and aiming at the Australians, said sources
quoting the preliminary results of the Australian Army
investigation of the clash.
"The casualties were among those actively firing.
Those who fell were those firing and aiming," one
source said.
The incident began when the Indonesian soldiers
(TNI) at the border fired warning shots in the air as
the Australians approached.
The corporal in charge of the leading men had just
enough time to tell his men to prop when they came
under fire by a group of militia and TNI to the right
side of the convoy.
"The warning shots were fired. The section
commander saw that, stopped, he knew where he was
[on the East Timorese side of the border].
"[He] could see clearly what the shots were fired for
and then it opened up on his flank."
The source also confirmed those firing at the
Australian troops were not in TNI uniform.
"Clearly the first vision soldiers had were people, not
in uniform, firing directly at them ... (and) you hear a
crack of a round going past you if it is aimed directly at
you."
The firing at the Australians from the flank extended
all the way down the convoy, with bullets striking a
land rover near the rear of the convoy several hundred
metres from the border.
