Thanks for sticking with it. I now realise where we disagree. I do think we've learned enough in the interim that we'd be likely to get how to use TLS much closer to right for something like IMAP today. I don't doubt that we'll find lots of ways to make mistakes as well of course, I just don't think they'd be in that area.
