Instructions
=========

1. Wind Lead under body - tie down firmly with thread.
2. Wind thread to bend. Tie in tail fibres.
3. Tie in wool and copper wire. Wind Body and tie off.
4. Wind Rib forward (3 turns). Tie in and cut off excess.
5. Tie in two strands of tinsel.
6. Dub fur on thread and wind to form a thorax.
7. Pull Holographic tinsel over thorax and tie in. Clip off excess.
8. Tie in small hen hackle and wrap 2 -3 turns. Tie in and trim off excess.
9. Whip finish and varnish head.

On a small stream in South East Victoria, I noticed some very dark mayfly nymphs. When next at the bench I tied up this fly, and took it out on my next trip. It consistently outfished all other nymphs on this stream. It is a good fly to match small dark may fly nymphs with a touch of flash to attract the trout's attention.
