Historically (I see you are interested ;) people used to call it
pingilish (like PEnglish), then Mr Khanban (IIRC) invented
faargilisi, and we followed him.  It's simply a nice name ;).
Then chat became the dominated use of internet in Iran and those
users called it finglish.  BTW, I see one point in using
"faargilisi", it's that it shows how you should write things.
Two important ones are:

1. Use "aa" like "ketaab", and not "ketab".  It's very important.

2. Use "i" like "baazi", some people use "e" instead! like
"baze"!!!

Well, that's almost it.
