Yeah that's why i had that idea that it might be usable :) i've tried mpm-itk, but since it doesn't have children pools, it's not too fast. By bencmarking with ab, peruser showed 80% speed of prefork apache. mpm-itk itroduced only about 10-15% (if my memory serves me right).
