Dino on a stand sits on my desk just above my computer mouse. If I have
something where I really need high power( which in reality is only once or
twice a year) I ask the objects lab and use their big boy microscope down the
hall. I totally agree with Rachel. JTV

Silvia,
I think that would be a good option. I have found that for pest ID and
capturing images to share you don't need massive magnification but having more
working distance is useful. You also don't need for this purpose UV, IR or
other fancy options that make the dino-lites more expensive. Using any extra
budget for a compatible stand would be nice.

Hello everyone,
Is it there a particular USB microscope you would recommend for pest ID? Our
budget is around 250-300. We are looking into the Dino-Lite-AM3013T
(https://www.amazon.com/Dino-Lite-AM3013T-Measuring-Handheld-Microscope/dp/B00B1FD81G/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1546973378&sr=1-1&keywords=Dino-Lite+Pro+AM3013t)
but with so many options out there I am sure there might be better options.
Any advice would be appreciated.
