I am also very interested in this since we accidentally catch geckos and
blind snakes every now and then, which I would very much prefer to save.
They're small enough that a mesh for us would have to be small enough that
it might hinder other insects as well.

I remember someone mentioning previously that putting glue traps face down
with a couple pennies to keep them off the ground was very good for
silverfish. Would this work for catching other insects too or would it
effectively stop them from passing through and affect the count? I wonder
if it would be worth turning all the traps downwards? Although maybe it
would stop catching moths and other flying types.... Thank you for your
