-20 to – 40 *centigrade* is the accepted standard. I was going to suggest that
you check on www.Museumpest.net<http://www.Museumpest.net> but I am having
trouble opening it. There are recommendations there. Also check the pest page

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing a chest freezer for the museum where I work. I
have seen some conflicting articles on the desired temperature. Some places say
that it should be capable of reaching -20 to -40 degrees Celsius, where others
say -20 to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Which is it, and can anyone recommend a
good brand sold in the U.S. that is in the $2,500.00 or less range? Any other
advice sincerely appreciated. The spot where we are going to put it is about
60” wide.
