You may have better luck with a UV light trap if the space is a little bit dim.
We have used them behind counters on the floor out of sight Depends how the
space is. The UV ones that have sticky card inserts in them may be better that
the bug zapper types as the sound will go noticed with guests the sticky card
type is silent. JTV

Subject: [PestList] Fly paper?
[CAUTION: This message originated from outside the Foundation. Do not click
links, open attachments or take action unless you know the contents are safe]
Hi folks,
Does anyone have recommendations for particular brands of paper or tape for
catching flies?
We’re having an issue in one of our historic buildings where we demonstrate
cooking – food attracts flies, and the flies are attracting wasps. We’re taking
measures to deal with the wasps but also want to try to cut down on the flies,
and we already clean as much as possible in that space.
Is one brand of fly tape as good as the next, or are some better than others?
Thanks for your time and input!
Katherine
