Stephan, Just curious. Were the flowers dried before freezing? I would have assumed that freshly cut flowers would be damaged by freezing. Sounds like a cool installation. Mike

If the installation is only for a short time or during cold times, i would suggest to control the branches on exit holes of insects and monitoring further. Freezing of thin plants takes with -30 degrees only 24-48 hours to kill most of possible insects. Better than nothing. In Munich a Collection had frozen 200.000 fresh flowers without problems.
