However, conservators would generally advise against raising the temperature in a contained environment and instead using something like desiccated silica gel to lower the RH. Given that most herbaria cabinets are well sealed that should also work to make the environment less hospitable.

Then use foam weather-stripping around the door frames and tape any open screw holes. Make sure the interior bottom panel is sealed. The heat generated by the light bulb will slowly dry out the materials and that will be the end of the psocids.
