Thanks Tom,

I have done that (before writing for your help). It was in the instructions and the file downloaded http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R81433.EXE is a 10.8mb windows executable (called R81433.exe). I can't (don't know how to) extract it in the SuSE environment.

It is a Dell file. Do I have to install it on my windows machine 1st (the Wi-fi card works well with the Belkin driver in the windows environment) and then search for the driver file or is there a way to extract the file from that executable within the Linux environment?

Cheers - Eron

Sounds like it could be the inf file you're using. Try:

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List#B

for a list of cards and their known inf files.

Also, you may want to do ndiswrapper -l to see what drivers are
registered and ndiswrapper -e to remove any before you
install/re-install any drivers.

Thanks, Tom
