Here are two questions to bring a bit of life to the list!
I have a mount command that I use manually:
sudo mount -t smbfs //192.168.1.18/data /home/edward/mini -o
username=myusername,password=mypassword,fmask=0777,dmask=0777
I want to add this to my fstab.
How do I translate my mount command to an entry in the fstab
Second question:
Without setting up a DNS server, is it possible to use my hosts file (?)
to put in well used entries - like my ISP email POP and SMTP server?
