Sorry never set up an SFTP server, especially in an OSS environment before, not a very helpful answer I know, but in my "wintel" work I have used FTP Voyager on windows as an SFTP client so I CAN confirm that you are right its basically SFTP over Port 22 ( although it can be any you decide on when you set up the SFTP server, for instance our one at work uses a weird port number like 1928* or something like that so it can be customised if necessary, and in fact, I believe best security practice is to customise applications that use standard port numbers AS an actual another additional layer of security! ). *Not the real port number obviously!
