Cross Over Office does allow you to install "Unsupported" applications.
Some/many may work but the main point here is that the Cross Over team
has not verified it.

IE runs fine under Wine anyway; I think there may have been some
confusion there. In order for PP11 to install, it needs to see IE, and
we solved that by installing IE which runs perfectly well under Wine
(well no worse than it runs under Windows :-) With Wine we then got PP1
to install and run, but page rendering was broken so it was unusable.
