Vim is the only editor I have ever used, so I dont know any better, also
because of the exposure to cross-platfroms and also oftentimes on the
servers lack of a gui anyway. I do use gedit quite a lot but i'd like to get
to grips with VI so that in the event that i need to use it where gedit is
not availiable (and i dont have my VI cheat sheet with me), I'm not
screaming at the server going "WHY ARE YOU TYPING RANDOM CHARACTERS INSTEAD
OF MOVING THE CURSOR" (when trying to use arrow keys to move the cursor),
which I embarrasingly do on quite a regular basis, actually....
