Unfortunately I can not make the October Meeting, but I also have no clue how to properly maintain a Linux box either, I am as I suspect others are too, just feeling my away round the system still at the moment.
I have some suggestions based on previous experiences with windows:- Logs - which ones to check regularly, how to clear them down Clean Ups, cache files and temp files Linux Defrag? Antivirus checks? Backup and Restore? System snapshots for quick re-builds (eg Ghost or other product??) I cant think of anything else at the moment.
