Richard - thanks for this. A timely reminder!
Just to let folks know that I managed to get Dreamweaver 8 and Fireworks
8 (and my son also got Flash 8) to work on Ubuntu with WINE. A
remarkable feat by the WINE guys. If anyone is interested we followed
the tutorial here:
http://luiscosio.com/how-to-dreamweaver-running-on-ubuntu-in-10-easy-steps
Fireworks is a wee bit ropey in places, but it has not crashed yet, and
does most things! It really is weird have a Windows prog running in
Linux, and all the window effects of Compiz/Beryl working as well!!
Mark - can you recall how you got IE onto Linux at a meeting a few
months ago? (For testing purposes only I cam assure you!!!)
Anyway, a really happy Christmas to you all!
