Mark - can you recall how you got IE onto Linux at a meeting a few
months ago? (For testing purposes only I cam assure you!!!)
There's a script called IEs4Linux:
http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page
You can use this to install IE6 and (a modified version of [*]) IE7 on
Linux. I use them quite often when I need to check something in IE.
Indeed when something needs checking in IE7, I'm the only one in the
office who can, as nobody else wants to replace IE6 with IE7 (they
mostly use Firefox anyway). With Linux I can install both :-)
[*] See the above URL for info but you basically get the rendering
engine of IE7 running inside IE6, as the IE7 application won't install
in Linux. This means you get to see what a website would look like in
IE7 but you don't get the IE7 "innovations" like tabbed browsing. You
might have to look elsewhere for such cutting edge features :-)
