there isn't such a thing as a WEP wireless card, the driver *might* not 
have WPA but that would be fairly unusual. It might also need a "WPA 
supplicant" installing, what's the wireless card (or the Dell model).

from memory under Places you find Network if you're looking to access 
other PCs on the same network.

why do you need flash to test the internet connection ? just download a 
file if its the throughput you want to test.

the CD and DVD use different lasers in the drive so it is possible that 
a drive will read DVDs but not CDs or vice versa.
