I lurk on this list, rather than participate, but would like to be more 
involved.

With regard to a Facebook group, I would have to say I would be very unlikely 
to join, having deleted my Facebook account back in 2013. What would people 
think about a Slack group? It's free, with web access, cross platform and 
mobile apps. I'd be happy to set this up.

I also wonder whether it might be worth contacting the Allia business centre 
near the football ground, for a venue. There's plenty of power and WiFi, and 
they've always been very supportive with events such as hackathons and the STEM 
festival. I'd be happy to reach out to them and see if this is a possibility if 
people would like to meet up irl.
