Cop outs are fine by me!

I did actually buy what I thought was one of those years ago, but it
turned out to be just a DVD recorder which could take an input from a
VHS player, and that was too much faff to be worth the effort.

Which model do you have? I'm expecting this to take many months of
occasional hits so I'm loathed to borrow if I can pick something up
cheap on eBay that'll do the job, but some idea what to get would be
really handy.

Also what DVD media do you use?
