I'd like to state that I strongly vote for means to determine
pf-component versions by user. I'd suggest, however, that pf /
if_pfsync / if_pflog just printf some information when they are loaded
(dmesg would make that information avaiable) no need for sysctl etc.
Printing $Id$s might be enough, but not a really pretty approach.
