synproxy state "broken"

As mentioned on the OpenBSD-misc list, synproxy state was apparently
"broken" (causing for slow throughput) in OpenBSD 3.5 - 3.6-release.

I was wondering if anyone knows about the status of this issue with
FreeBSD's pf port?
