All,
Am attempting to replace embedded SQL with dynamic DSs & DWOs. Purpose of
SQL is to delete rows from table. Have implemented dynamic DS & DWO's --
including deletion of rows from DWO. However the update of the DS is
skipping out because pfc_UpdatesPending() returns 0 ("No updates are
pending"). I've traced the reason to a call to a DeletedCount() function
in the event (pfc_UpdatesPending()) -- it is returning 0 (rows deleted).
PowerBuilder help says "If a DataWindow is not updatable(SIC), rows that are
deleted are discarded-they are not stored in the delete buffer. Therefore,
DeletedCount always returns 0 for a nonupdatable(SIC) DataWindow
Looks like I have to make the DSs "Updateable". Can anyone help with the
solution?
