The update properties are not usually set properly by powerbuilder, unless
the sql statement that is used to create the ds has only one table in it,
and has the primary key in the select clause.
Using the describe check the values of the update properties of the ds. Then
using the update function set the update properties properly as you think
approp for the application. This should fix the problems.
