hello: I need to build a window to modify in form dynamic the position x of the fields of a dw. For it, I use a dw in way preview and I give the possibility to the user of entering the value of the attribute x of each field and then to carry out the corresponding Modify. This dw is defined with left and right margins in 0.000 (the measure unit is 1/1000 centimeters). The problem that I have is that the horizontal position of the dw is 0.400 cm (although the left margin is 0.00). I suppose that this value depends on the selected printer. The position X that I obtain with the function Describe doesn't keep in mind this difference. For example, in the preview the position X of a field coincides with the mark of 3 cm of the horizontal rule while the value of the attribute X that I obtain is 2,600 cm. My desire it is to avoid that the user realize the calculation: to subtract to the wanted value the difference of 0.400 cm. But I don4t know how to determine this value since believes that it is dependent of the selected printer. I am using PB 6.5 and PFC. I hope to be clear. Some idea?
