The way we handle it right now, is that we print invoices from a dw, at the same
time we create a temp. psr file which we convert into the blob and store in the
db table on the server. Do you think that storing actual files will take up
less disk space?

Hi Stella,
If the invoices that you are printing are based on DW, you could save
them to a PSR file and store them somewhere on the server. Instead of
the table that stores BLOB's, you could create a look up table that will
store the path to the server,
and instead of the blob, you would store the path to the file with a
file name.
