Hi,
We print invoices from a dw, at the same time we create a temp. psr file which
we convert into the blob and store in the db table on the server. When we pull
up such invoice to be printed for the second time, we do not retrieve from
multiple tables, we go to one table that we stored blob of this invoice into,
covert it back to psr file and attach to a dw.
Thanks,
Stella

Subject: PFCSIG Store images in the db table
Greetings,
Sorry for non-PFC question. We are using PB 6.5/pfc on Oracle 7.34.
We store
images (blobs) in the database table when users print invoices.
This table is
taking a lot of disk space on our production server. Could anybody
make any
suggestions as far as reducing the amount of disk space used? I will
be able to
give more details if necessary.
Thanks in advance,
Stella Kravchenko
