Greetings from Washington DC,

TTBOMK, that is what the "required" column attribute is for. Place your
mouse pointer on the DW column, right click and select "Properties", then
select the "Edit" tab -- "Required" is the second checkbox on the far right.

You will probably want to use the PFC Required Column Service also -- and
there is a really nice extension (causes service to display more "user
friendly" error message) on the PFCguide (www.pfcguide.com) web site.

Subject: PFCSIG detect Not null before save

Hi every PFCer,
Is there a way to detect detect that there is one or more columns in
the data window(s) are not allowed to be null. Therefore we can prevent
the pfc_save to execute (it will give dberror)
The problem arises when the user clicks SAVE before (s)he completes the
data entry of columns in the data window.

Your input will be highly appreciated.
TIA
