The version 6.5 scanner provided me with days and days of grief.
If you are using version 6.5, the tab controls and tab page controls MUST be
inherited from u_tab and u_tabpg. PB5.03 did not enforce this.

After crossing this hurdle, I got "data truncation" errors. If you have very lengthy
control names like
"w_my_very_lengthy_windowname.tab_my_very_lengthy_tabname.tabpage_my_very_lengthy_tabpagename.dw_my_very_lengthy_datawindowname"
many of the datawindows used by the scanner (and security administrator) will blow up
with "data truncation". This is because the columns "window" and "control" within
the security tables, at some point were expanded by Powersoft from char(32) to
char(64), and char(64) to char(128) respectively. Unfortunately the datawindows
"remembered" the smaller sizes. I exported the offending datawindows, changed the
values, then imported.

These are the biggest problems that I remember. But I did eventually made it work
rather well. Good luck.
