The messge is usually associated with mutli-user enviroments and usually
means two users have retrieved and modified the same row (sometimes refred
to as "contention").  The user that got the message needs to re-retireve the
row, re-modifiy it and re-save it.

That being said, I have seen the message somewhat frequently in the past,
and it was never casued by contention, my mind is a little un-clear re: how
we fixed it, but I think one cause is table columns with default values.  A
table is defined with defualt values such that when a row in inserted, if
the columnd vaue is NULL, it will be replace with a valid value (such as
zero).  The solution is to set up the datawindow so that it supplies the
same default value for the column as the table definition.

This error is not regular. It comes rarely.
