Good point, although I think PB internally redirects the update to the
master DW when there are shared ones.

   But thinking along those lines, another possibility is that the
Update(true,false) function is being called multiple times before the
row/column status is updated.  This would cause the second invocation to
fail (unless the update properties were set to key-only, in which case
performance would be the degraded due to the redundant call).

Do you have shared datawindows?  If so, perhaps you are sending an update
for each, the first one succeeds, the 2nd update results in the error.
Should only have one of them sending updates.

Row changed between retrieve and update. 

Can anyone provide me the solution at the earliest.

This error is not regular. It comes rarely.
