Everyone hates Elon's hate speech idea

So it appears that everybody hates Elon's new idea of leaving up hate
speech and not boosting it for visibility. Some are arguing there's no
standard for what hate speech is. Certainly there are gray areas
especially in political speech, but much hate speech (targeting race,
religion, personal characteristics, etc.) are very clear. The EU has
quite clear definitions also, and have more regulations coming into
force against disinformation as well as hate speech.

Leaving up hate speech in any manner would likely run afoul of both
the EU, plus Apple and Google's app stores' terms of service.

Meanwhile, over on the right, they're livid that Elon said he would
not boost visibility of hate speech. "After all," they seem to be
saying, "what good is being able to have hate speech stay online if
it's not easy to find?"

So the one-man chaos train wreck of Twitter continues.
