How to disable Google's new tracking network on your Android devices
Google is now launching its "Find My Device" network that will by
default draft your Android devices into their system for locating
Bluetooth trackers -- similar to the Apple iOS system that has
existed for some time.
Despite various efforts to contain or avoid abuse of these trackers,
there are still many reports of them being used in various criminal
manners, some quite serious.
Personally, I am uninterested in having my own devices interacting
with potentially abusive or criminal activities using these trackers
simply because Google has enabled this by default on Android -- and I
intend to disable this function on all devices that I control.
