I think there are 3 functions the 'del key'.
- When you select a row, delete the table row.
- When you in edit mode, delete text.
- When you in edit mode with selected text - delete the selected text -
doesn't working.

Hi,
Under WinXp Sp3 try the following:
- open a table data in a grid
- open a cell for editing
- select some text
- press the 'del' key.
- the selected text doesn't deleted
